What a fabulous weekend we had at St. George's Hall in Liverpool for The Great History Show. Sudley Area Residents' Association had a stall for the two day event which ran on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th of April 2016, where we displayed artefacts from the 1930's and 1940's that represented childhood and growing up during the Liverpool Blitz.
We also had a"Rough Cut" of the documentary film running and there were was a really good response from the public for the heart felt stories that the film is telling wonderfully.
Our stall was visited be over 200 people over the weekend, with many more war-time stories being shared and discussed, which meant that out time at the exhibition was interesting, friendly and very community based.
A huge thank you to our volunteers who manned the stall and listened intently to all of the stories being shared. Well done everyone!!!
